Guide lines for your submission

We love to see styled shoots and real weddings and so do our readers. Here are some tips on what we look for and how to increase your chances of getting published.

First things first

  1. The email to use is
  2. Send me 20-30 images in the first instance by emailing a Dropbox link or via WeTransfer
  3. Email a brief description about your submission – what am I looking at?
  4. If you’re submitting a photo shoot, please send a list of suppliers involved
  5. If we are interested we will get in touch to see more images
  6. When we accept a real wedding we will send you questions about the day

Tips & advice to get your submission approved

  • We are open to styles, themes and locations – in fact we love to see something different, but we only accept high quality edited images. We prefer light and airy but dark and moody floats our boat too.
  • Photographers – if we accept your real wedding we require written permission to publish from the couple
  • Brides & Grooms – if we accept your real wedding we require written permission from the copyright holder (the photographer usually)
  • We want the love story and the details (cakes, flowers, fashion, little touches, close ups)
  • We rarely publish group shots for privacy reasons
  • Photos taken on an angle will not be published – it makes us sea sick!
  • We never EVER publish photos with colour splash (b&w images with a splash of colour – it’s nasty!)
  • We very rarely publish black and white images

{Photographers –  please send at 70 dpi // 2000 px wide}

We obviously can’t publish every submission we receive but we will let you know within a week or so if we would like to move forward with it. This may take a little longer during our wedding fair season so bear with us!
