ITALIAN WEDDING WITH PAMPAS GRASS & PINK LINENS

Small, intimate weddings are definitely becoming ‘a thing’. This outdoor wedding with pampas grass mini-shoot from Andreas Pinacci Photography proves the best things come in small packages.  The backdrop is new wedding venue Villa Alceo in Viggiu, Italy which is about an hour from Milan and only half an hour from Lake Como. (Yes ladies, that’s only half an hour away from George Clooney.) Before becoming a boutique hotel, the house was a family home and over the years hosted many VIP and celebrity guests. According to their website they offer luxury accommodation and fine local food and wine.

The benefits of a smaller wedding mean you can still go to town with the details if that’s your thing but less place settings means the focus is on quality not quantity.  In this case the simple table setting for twenty guests is a linen palette of pink with polished gold cutlery and gold edged glassware. Show stopping floral displays by Riccardo Ciceri incorporate the very much on trend Pampas Grass, bursting with pink and cream roses, displayed on tall antique gold stands. It’s these magnificent florals that add the wow factor to this party.

Living Coral At Kimbolton Castle: Part Three

Three Ways to Work With ‘Living Coral’

Kimbolton Castle Wedding Inspiration

Earlier this year Pantone announced its colour for 2019 – ‘Living Coral’. Never before have I seen the official Pantone Colour of the Year have such an impact on the wedding industry. Although I’m not surprised, I haven’t spoken to a single creative person yet that hasn’t loved it and welcomed it with open arms.

Now that coral is a hot trend with brides-to-be, James and I have teamed up with an awesome group of people to bring you not only one way to use coral, but THREE! The team have put together the themes, each very different from the other. So whether you’re after something ‘Soft & Sophisticated’ that oozes elegance, a ‘Bright & Bold’ festival vibe or maybe a ‘Dark & Daring’ winter wedding, we’ve got lots of ideas for you!

Part 3: Dark & Daring

There is so much to love about this theme, The dark and opulent hues are perfect for when the temperature drops and the nights start to pull in.

THE DRESS: This A-line gown is cloaked in the most beautiful burnout lace pattern for a modern twist on a timeless style. The corset style bodice and classic strapless sweetheart neckline complete the look. Amanda teamed the dress with a bronzed rose crown, immediately creating a sense of majesty. Beneath the crown, Yasmin’s curls fall to her waist. Her make-up is seductive with grey smokey eyes lined with coal and paired with claret-red lips.

Be cool and warm up on your wedding day with this awesome bespoke white leather jacket from Hartfelt London. They create leather or denim jackets with either silver, gold or rose gold lettering printed on the back and then decorate it with hand painted flowers to match your colour theme.

Park Lane Chic – by Buckinghams Creative

"Our aim, in addition to creating something beautiful, is always to show you how to work with the key features and tones of your wedding venue by allowing those elements to guide you. What more beautiful backdrop could we have had, than Rushton Hall in Northamptonshire. My mood board started with embracing the features of the room and letting them influence our choices. Beauty is created from the simplest of things. Crisp white linen and polished silver, the whisper of silver and gold catching the light from the chandelier, glasses sparkling within a classic white and green floral palette. The…

David Fielden, International Designer

The visionary genius creating ethereal gowns that dance with your very soul. It’s taken more than two years for us to get this interview. “He hates being interviewed” we were told. But when you admire legendary designer David Fielden as much as we do, we weren’t going to give up that easily. We’re incredibly grateful to dear Walter who helped us nag him, and of course to the man himself. It gives us great pleasure to include David in our ‘Designer Life’ series, where he talks exclusively to Buckinghams about his private life, loves and hates, and the man behind the incredible…
