Walled Garden Beeston Fair, Spring 2017

What a fabulous day we had at The Walled Garden at Beeston Fields Wedding Fair in April.

A fabulous turn out (over 400 people!) meant the gorgeous marquee was buzzing and we were still going at closing time! Visitors were warmly welcomed with a glass of fizz and canapés courtesy of the super venue team at The Walled Garden and a Buckinghams Gift Bag for registered brides with treats from John Lewis and NEXT.  Over 25 fabulous wedding suppliers were in attendance and the super fun Geoff Kirby Photography captured the day for us (thank you Geoff!) so I’m pleased to have some some great photos to share with you. The forecast had been for rain but the sun brightly shone for most of the day meaning Annette in the ice cream van by Elite Candy Carts was kept busy. Dorset Marmalade was Brian’s favourite, Jess from Shade Bridal enjoyed a Salted Caramel but my fave was definitely Mango – delicious! Toe tapping entertainment was provided by the fantastic Paul Martyn (Sax, DJ & Vocals) & Jazz & Cocktails whilst our favourite magician, The Trixta, once again had some hilarious tricks up his sleeve.

One of my favourite bits of the day was every bride who literally gasped as they walked into the marquee. ‘Oh it’s gorgeous’ was heard several times over. ‘It looks amazing’ said another. The Walled Garden really is a cracking venue within the most romantic of settings. Helen at Cliff’s Cushions did a fabulous job with the bunting and ribboned ceiling and what with the beautiful chandeliers, gorgeous gardens and great atmosphere we really did have a super day. Thank you to those of you who have written to say what a lovely day you had – I hope you found your dress, cake, flowers, styling and lots more and many congratulations to those of you who booked your venue!

So a massive thank you to The Walled Garden for having us, the amazing suppliers who exhibited and to every bride, groom, maid, mum, dad, friend and bestie who came to see us. I hope you enjoy the photos!
