Dreaming Of Couture? Dreams Really Can Come True
Beautiful Couture Wedding Dresses by Baroque Couture in Derbyshire
If you’re dreaming of a totally bespoke wedding dress made just for you then look no further than Baroque Couture. Situated in the Derbyshire town of Draycott, Elaina Evans, owner and designer of this luxurious label, creates jaw-dropping couture bridal gowns for brides across the UK and Internationally. Her designs are dramatic, utterly romantic one-of-a-kind statement pieces made exclusively for each bride.
Appointments are relaxed and one-to-one with Elaina whom herself radiates a calmness and grace which makes one feel safe in the hands of the fairy godmother of wedding gowns; as though with a simple swish of her cutting scissors your dream wedding dress will appear. It’s no surprise Elaina’s boutique offers a mouthwatering display of stunning dresses from her ‘Baroque Collection’ too.
Overflowing with luxurious lace, satins and silks and frothy frills seemingly good enough to eat, sprinkled with bejewelled belts, lavish accessories and sparkly headdresses the boutique is a dream of bridal inspiration. And when I visited her beautiful store on what was a humid, oppressive day I was invited to sip cool lemonade and indulge in fresh strawberries as we chatted about her work. I could almost imagine she had a team of white mice stitching fine gold thread in her sewing room.
It must be two years now since I first met Elaina and she has been styling and designing for brides for many more than that but her eyes still light up with excitement as she talks about her creations; there is no doubt about her passion for every stitch that goes into making a Baroque Couture gown. I will be publishing my interview with Elaina on the blog in due course but I simply couldn’t wait to share with you some of these images from her collection.
