Warner Edwards Rhubarb Gin – the perfect Macaron for this summer’s weddings!
Definitely “on point” these are some of the oh-so-pretty wedding favours we made for Sarah & Ryan’s wedding at the fabulous Prestwold Hall in Leicestershire last Saturday. 80 pretty little boxes, tied with silver satin ribbon and ivory labels each offering up a divine scrummy macaron filled with organic rhubarb poached in Warner Edwards Rhubarb Gin combined with our Madagascan Vanilla & Double Cream ganache and then topped off with a square of our oh so naughty Rhubarb Gin Jelly – neat rhubarb gin turned into a very adult jelly for that extra special hit!
Sarah & Ryan popped along to see us at Maison Des Macarons a few weeks ago to try a handful of flavours from our extensive list – currently standing at over 30! It’s always lovely to meet our brides and grooms and get to know a little bit about them and their “journey” to the big day. After tasting their requested flavours, I told them I was currently making some new Rhubarb Gin ones…….ooops!!! Yes, please – so after trying a couple – decision made! We also made 10 Madagascan Vanilla ones for the “little ones” so their day was filled with scrumminess too!
