Place Cards or Palm Trees

Place Cards Or Palm Trees

Wedding Place Cards

Personally the idea of creating 100+ place cards fills me with dread! I know you crafty types probably love the idea of going crazy with pretty paper and unusual letter stamps but for the rest of us it’s ‘err thanks but no thanks!’

So for those of you whom, like myself, would rather cut your guest list than cut paper (attention span of a gnat, me), you need the gorgeous Amelia Freestone at Millie Stone UK Calligraphy as your new bestie!!!

Professional Calligrapher

Amelia will take this horrendous job off your hands and create absolutely beautiful place cards your guests will smuggle out for a keepsake. Amelia has an Etsy shop or you can give her a tinkle and chat through your options – either way, you could be sipping a rhubarb gin and planning your honeymoon instead of practising your best hand writing!

I know which I’d rather be doing!

Pick Your Perfect Wedding Season

Pick Your Perfect Wedding Season

The Ultimate Bridal Colour Guide

As most brides would agree, one of the most important, and perhaps difficult, parts of planning a wedding is settling on a theme. When you really think about it, everything else like the venue, cake, attire, makeup and décor will be planned around this so you really need to nail it. Wedding industry experts, Adorn Invitations have put together a style guide, based on the season in which you will host your big day, to help give you some inspiration.

Soft and Love-Filled Spring Soiree

Add a touch of femininity and romance with pale pink tones and a grey/blue hue that promises to send hearts aflutter. Stun your guests with a pastel and whimsical theme that is coupled with touches of rose gold for that air of luxury and class. Don’t forget to add rich greenery and white blooms throughout to really set the contrast and balance out such blushing and light colours.

Blooming and Beautiful Summertime Celebration

You’re lucky enough to have your wedding during a season where the most beautiful of flowers are in full bloom, so take advantage of that and decorate your venue with as much greenery and ivory as you can – from hanging them on your Welcome Sign, to draping them from the chandelier, placing them on the arch or filling the table with cute little displays and pots, the options are endless. Turn this into your own little captivating outdoor garden.

Luxe and Moody Autumn Extravaganza

Picture your elegantly pure white gown amongst a sea of rich and deep maroon and blue, enriched by opulent touches of gold. Blend the red and blues softly into your bouquet, wedding invitations and accessories and glam everything else up in gold. This bold yet beautiful colour palette is for the bride who wants to break free from the traditional white-styled wedding and wants hers to exude sheer decadence and to bedazzle her guests.

Stylish and Sophisticated Winter Wonderland

Dripping in Old-Age romance, this royal and regal colour palette is perfect for the couple who want to move away from the traditional towards something modern yet still elegant and luxe. Oozing a luxurious 1920’s feel, you could pair these colours with an Old Hollywood, Gatsby, Vintage or Glam theme and have your guests dress in the complementing bold shades.

Bring To Life Your Own Boho-Luxe Lavender Wedding Day

“In need of a dose of inspiration for your Boho-Luxe wedding day? Peruse through this enchanting styled photoshoot from Adorn Invitations amongst the vibrant backdrop of a country lavender field. A free-spirited couple dine on delectable gold flaked macaroons in a setting fit for a Moroccan Princess.”

“Utilising a colour scheme of lilacs, blushes, lavenders and golds – the brains behind this styled photoshoot is event designer and creative director of Adorn Invitations. With years of design experience, the head stylist spearheaded their own cow skull centrepiece and sourced gemstones and crystals from all over the globe to include in the lavish indoor and outdoor tablescapes. Wild floral arrangements of roses, succulents and greenery sprawl along the timber tables and gold foiled laser cut invitations with foil stamped bands introduce guests to the magical day. Gowns from Maggie Sottero and Nicole Spose feature with white henna and dainty floral crowns to create a look that is truly magical.

Wanting to create an aesthetic that was otherworldly and yet easily accessible to every day brides, the team endeavoured to create a harmony between an ethereal bohemian vibe and elegant romanticism. Textured tribal patterns in vivid purples contrast against sleek gold metallic lines to produce a wedding style for both the offbeat and traditional bride.”
