This stunningly simple cake was recently delivered to the beautiful Beaumanor Hall, Leicestershire.  Alternating layers of lemon zest and vanilla bean cake were covered in red berries and delicate flowers.  The result was a show-stopping tower of  deliciousness.

A naked wedding cake delivered to the wonderfully welcoming Sutton Bonington Hall for Isabelle and Craig has all the wow factor without the fuss.

They chose dairy free lime and passion fruit cakes, lemon with Limoncello and a vanilla bean cake with raspberry compote, finished with a selection of fresh summer fruit and gorgeous flowers supplied by Flowers by Philippa.

Finally, a pretty birthday cake for a big family get together for Freda’s 89th birthday. She loves her garden, growing lots of fruit and flowers and also used to make lace pillowcases and tablecloths.

Congratulations to Jennifer and James who married this weekend at Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire. Finally bringing together my sugar flowers to adorn the cake which matched their theme of orchids and peonies with flavours of Madagascan vanilla, fresh cherry with almond and fianlly lemon with elderflower. Filled with Swiss meringue buttercream and coated with rich Belgian chocolate gananche and covered with the best fondant; Swiss made Massa Ticino. Best wishes to them both!

Ivory, Gold And Pearl Cupcakes For Andy & Jag At The Old Stables, Swithland

An array of cupcakes decorated in ivory, gold and pearls to coordinate with the bride’s gorgeous embroidered outfit.

This week’s wedding cake was at The Old Stables, Griffin Inn at Swithland, Leicestershire for Andy and Jag. The happy couple asked me to create an 8″ rich chocolate fudge cake with white chocolate and raspberry compote filled cupcakes and red velvet cupcakes. The gorgeous personalised cake topper was lovingly made by the bride’s sister and the cupcake decorations matched the embellishments on the bride’s outfit in bright gold, old gold and pearls.
